Hello! I’m Gillian, a Senior UX Design Specialist / Project Lead for Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, one of Canada's largest hospital and trauma centre. I designed some of its main EHR features relating to discharge summaries, alternate level of care and behavioural alert flagging.

As a former music teacher, my passion for helping students overcome learning challenges led to a passion for creating research driven, user-centered experiences for all. My prior experiences has trained me to lead with empathy, and has honed my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand language.
